Jason Huffey, RE/MAX Revolution
Fair Housing Statement
Effective date: October 28, 2026
Huffey Homes and RE/MAX Revolution are committed to equal housing opportunity. I will help anyone buy, sell, or rent a home, and I treat every client and customer with the same standards, honesty, and care.
What the law protects
The federal Fair Housing Act prohibits discrimination in the sale, rental, and financing of housing because of race, color, religion, sex, disability, familial status, or national origin.
The Iowa Civil Rights Act also prohibits housing discrimination because of race, color, creed, sex, sexual orientation, religion, national origin, disability, or familial status. Some cities, including Des Moines, have their own human rights ordinances.
As a REALTOR®, I also follow the National Association of REALTORS® Code of Ethics, which commits members to equal professional service for all and covers additional classes, including sexual orientation and gender identity.
What that means when you work with me
- I will not steer you toward or away from any neighborhood based on who lives there.
- I describe homes, not people. I do not comment on the makeup of a neighborhood.
- For questions about schools, crime, or demographics, I will point you to the official sources so you can decide for yourself.
- I will present every offer to my sellers, and I will not accept a listing with instructions to discriminate.
- Reasonable accommodations for people with disabilities are welcome. Just ask.
